Non-tenure track research fellow position of "Center for Artificial Low Dimensional Electronic Systems" in the Institute for Basic Science (IBS)

The Physics Group led by Prof. Han Woong Yeom at the Center for Artificial Low Dimensional Electronic Systems (CALDES), Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Pohang, Korea invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellow in the research field of materials synthesis and characterization in condensed matter physics and related areas. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the management of the materials synthesis facility and perform high quality materials growth using various techniques. The ideal candidate must have strong background in quantum materials sysnthesis and a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications. The CALDES, led by Prof. Han Woong Yeom, is a collaborative research center belonging to IBS, a newly established national research institute to lead the top notch basic science research of Korea.

■ Appointment period

The appointment is a full time non- tenure track contract.
Those in non-tenure track research positions may renew their employment contract once after the initial contract and the total contract period shall not exceed five years.
The initial contract starts from November 1, 2018.
