2024-1 Recruitment Announcement for Senior Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Associate Positions at Center for Catalytic Hydrocarbon Functionalizations and Center for Advanced Reaction Dynamics, Institute for Biomedical Science and Chemistry
Institute for Basic Science (IBS) is a national research institute established in accordance with Article 14 of the Special Act on Establishment of and Support for International Science and Business Belts. IBS aims to discover creative knowledge and secure original technologies through world-class basic science research.
The research focus of Center for Catalytic Hydrocarbon Functionalizations, led by Director Sukbok CHANG, is the development of catalytic C-H functionalizations, understanding their mechanistic de23-tails, and their applications.
Center for Advanced Reaction Dynamic, led by Director Hyotcherl LHEE, conducts in-depth research on the mechanisms of various chemical reactions and biological reactions. The center aims to understand kinetics, especially the ultrafast structural dynamics of reactions, and also develop new time-resolved experimental techniques and data analysis methods.
Institute for Biomedical Science and Chemistry invites creative and dynamic researchers who can contribute to the realization of our goals.

▪ (Senior Researcher) Contract renewal after initial contract is available within total 5 years
▪ (Postdoctoral Research Associate) A position to conduct research training and research for a certain period of time to deepen research expertise and abilities. Those who do not exceed 5 years after obtaining their doctoral degrees, or those who are expected to obtain their doctoral degree within 3 months by the time of appointment. Contract renewal after initial contract is available within total 3 years, if the performance review rating is more than the average score of 70.
