Jonathan Rubin, a professor at the University of Pittsburgh and a visiting scholar at BIMAG, has been elected as the chair of the SIAM Activity Group on Dynamical Systems. This group, comprising over 1,000 SIAM members who published 105 related journal articles in 2023, serves as a platform for the exchange of ideas and information among mathematicians and applied scientists working with dynamical systems, until the end of 2025.
