Throughout the conference, each member delivered exceptional presentations, showcasing their expertise and contributing to the overall success of the event.

From June 24th to 26th, BIMAG members had the opportunity to attend the 2023 KSIAM-NIMS School on Biomathematics, which took place at the Jeju Bestwestern Hotel. During the event, Professor Won Chang and Jaewoo Park delivered an outstanding tutorial on statistics, enriching the learning experience for all participants.

On June 14th, Hyukpyo Hong, a Ph.D. student in BIMAG, successfully completed his Ph.D. thesis defense, marking a significant milestone in his academic journey. Congrats! Following graduation, he will assume the Van Vleck Assistant Professor role in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
