CI Jae Kyoung Kim has been selected for the 2026 Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) Accelerator program. HFSP supports innovative international collaborative research in the life sciences and has produced numerous Nobel laureates. This year, a total of 1,180 proposals were submitted, reflecting a highly competitive selection process. Prof. Kim will participate in a mathematical modeling study of tick-borne virus transmission under climate change, in collaboration with research teams from South Africa and Turkey.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Seongjin Choi, who recently joined BIMAG as a postdoctoral fellow.

Dr. Choi received his PhD in Mathematics from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). His research focuses on topological deep learning and hypergraph neural networks. He is particularly interested in applying these methods to biological and chemical network analysis.
