We are delighted to welcome Dr. Seongjin Choi, who recently joined BIMAG as a postdoctoral fellow.
Dr. Choi received his PhD in Mathematics from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). His research focuses on topological deep learning and hypergraph neural networks. He is particularly interested in applying these methods to biological and chemical network analysis.

On February 23, 2026, Daewon Jeong, an undergraduate intern at BIMAG, had the honor of receiving a scholarship from the Unhae Scholarship Foundation.

On Feb 10th, 2026, Prof. Sungbin Lim from Korea University gave a talk at the IBS Biomedical Mathematics Seminar. The title of his talk was “Toward a Foundation Model for Molecular Tasks.”
Prof. Saebom Jeon has been appointed as an Associate Professor at Sungshin University, Prof. Hyuntae Jo has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at Ajou University, Dr. Hyun Kim has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at Kyung Hee University, and Dr. Seok Joo Chae has been appointed as an Assistant Professor at Soongsil University.
