On June 5th, our postdoctoral fellow Gyuyoung Hwang gave a talk on the paper “Chaos Meets Attention: Transformers for Large-Scale Dynamical Prediction” at the Journal club.
On May 29th, our postdoctoral fellow Chitaranjan Mahapatra gave a talk on the paper “Circadian rhythm profiles derived from accelerometer measures of the sleep-wake cycle in two cohort studies” at the Journal club.
On May 15th, our student Hyeong Jun Jang gave a talk on the paper “High-order Michaelis-Menten equations allow inference of hidden kinetic parameters in enzyme catalysis” at the Journal club
On May 8th, our student Myna gave a talk on the paper “Impact of daylight saving time on physical activity patterns” at the Journal club
BIMAG members participated in the 2025 KSIAM Spring Conference, held at Konkuk University from May 16 to 17, 2025.

On July 12, Dr. Hyun Kim gave a talk at the BRIC academic webinar. The title of the presentation was ‘scLENS: Data-Driven Signal Detection for Unbiased scRNA-seq data analysis.’ The talk was recorded and uploaded to the BRIC YouTube channel.

On 7th, June, our student Olive gave a talk at the BIMAG Journal Club on “Inferring Causal Gene Regulatory Networks from Coupled Single-Cell Expression Dynamics Using Scribe”.

On April 11th, Science Chosun interviewed Dr. Pan Li, a Senior Researcher from BIMAG. During the interview, Dr. Pan discussed the reasons for choosing to come to Korea, current research projects, and life in Korea. The interview was published on April 22nd.

We bid farewell to Professor Jeon Sae-bom as she concludes her sabbatical at BIMAG on February 29th, 2024. Her contributions, spanning both academic and non-academic realms, have been invaluable to us all over the past year. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for her dedication and wish her continued success beyond this chapter. Let’s hope for opportunities to meet and collaborate in the future.
전새봄 교수님께서 24년 2월 29일을 마지막으로 BIMAG에서의 연구년을 마치게 되셨습니다. 약 1년 정도의 기간동안 모든 멤버들에게 있어서 연구적으로나 연구 외적으로 정말 많은 도움을 주셨습니다. 교수님의 노고에 감사드리며 연구년을 마치고도 자주 뵐 수 있기를 기원합니다.
