On the 18th at 11 a.m., CI Jae Kyoung Kim gave a public lecture titled, ‘The Usefulness of Mathematics! The Beautiful Encounter of Mathematics, Medicine, and Life Sciences,’ at the ‘2023 World Maths Day, Mathematics for All’ event.
3월 18일 오전 11시, CI 김재경 교수님이 부산수학문화관에서 열린 ‘2023년 세계 수학의 날, 모두를 위한 수학’ 행사에서 ‘수학의 쓸모! 수학과 의학, 생명과학의 아름다운 만남’을 주제로 수학 대중화에 대해 강연했습니다.
CI Jae Kyoung Kim appeared on the Youtube Unrealscience channel live streaming. He introduced mathematical biology and various research in our group.
CI 김재경 교수님이 유튜브 안될과학 채널 생방송에 출연하여 수리생물학 및 우리 그룹에서 진행한 연구에 대해서 소개하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
We are excited to share that our recent work (link), which was published in the prestigious journal Science Advances, has been featured on the SIAM News blog (link). Our study explores the source of cell-to-cell heterogeneity in antibiotic response.

기초과학연구원(IBS, 원장 노도영) 수리 및 계산 과학 연구단 의생명 수학 그룹 김재경 CI(KAIST 수리과학과 교수) 연구팀은 고영일 서울대병원 혈액종양내과 교수팀과 공동으로 광범위 B형 대세포 림프종을 앓고 있는 여성 환자를 오후에 치료할 시 예후가 더 좋아진다는 가능성을 확인했다.
