Dr. Eui Min and Dr. Seok Joo, along with Ph.D. students Yun Min, DongJu, and Olive, also gave presentations at the mini-symposium.

We had the opportunity to interact and enjoy time with numerous outstanding mathematical biologists from around the world who attended the conference.

From December 5 to 8, BIMAG members participated in Workshop on Non-equilibrium Phenomena in Physics and Biology, held in Lahan Select Gyeongju, and presented our research.

지난 11월 24일 – 26일, 소노캄 제주에서 열린 한국산업응용수학회 2022년 정기학술대회에 우리 그룹 연구원들이 참석하여 연구 성과를 발표했습니다.

From July 11 to 14, BIMAG members participated in SIAM Conference on the Life Sciences 2022 (SIAM LS22) and presented our researches.

From June 30 to July 1, BIMAG members participated in KSMCB Symposium for associate academic division on Biological Rhythms and presented our researches. Seokjoo Chae received a best poster presentation award. Congratulation!

지난 6월 30일 – 7월 1일, 대전 ibs 본원 과학문화센터에서 열린 한국분자세포생물학회 생체리듬준분과 심포지엄에 우리 그룹 연구원들이 참석하여 연구 성과를 발표했습니다.
추가로 채석주 학생이 우수 포스터 발표상을 수상했습니다. 축하합니다!

From June 26 to 28, BIMAG members participated in KSIAM-NIMS School on Biomathematics: Statistical Tools for Mathematical Modeling. Three wonderful instructors gave serial lectures:
– Hang J. Kim (U of Cincinnati): Bayesian Inference: From parameter estimation to variable selection
– Won Chang (U of Cincinnati): More than curve fitting and uncertainty quantification
– Youngdeok Hwang (City U of New York): Design and analysis of computer experiments

지난 6월 26일 – 28일 여수 베네치아호텔에서 열린 한국산업응용수학회-국가수리과학연구소 공동 주관 생물수학학교: <수리모델링을 위한 통계적 방법론>에 우리 그룹 연구원들이 참석하였습니다. 세 분의 멋진 연사님들께서 3일에 걸쳐 아래와 같은 다양한 강의를 진행해주셨습니다.

– 김항준 교수님 (신시내티대학교): Bayesian Inference: From parameter estimation to variable selection
– 장원 교수님 (신시내티대학교): More than curve fitting and uncertainty quantification
– 황영덕 교수님 (뉴욕시립대학교): Design and analysis of computer experiments

지난 6월 24일 – 26일 여수 베네치아호텔에서 열린 한국수리생물학회 연례학술대회에 우리 그룹 연구원들이 참석하여 연구 성과를 발표했습니다.

From May 28 to 30, BIMAG members participated in Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (KSIAM) 2022 spring conference and presented our researches.

On May 27, 2021, Hyukpyo Hong gave an online talk at the SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems. The title of his talk was “Derivation of Stationary Distributions of Stochastic Chemical Reaction Networks via Network Translation.”
