Members of BIMAG participated in the 2025 KAI-X Global Conference in Sleep Synergy, held at KAIST on December 1–2. Professor Jae-Kyung Kim (CI) delivered an oral presentation, while Dr. Yun Min Song, Dr. Jinwoo Hyun, PhD candidates Dongju Lim and Olive Cawiding, and master’s students Myna Lim and Kangmin Lee presented posters. Among them, Dr. Yun Min Song and PhD candidate Dongju Lim received Outstanding Poster Presentation Awards. Congratulations to all!

BIMAG 멤버들은 12월 1일과 2일, KAIST에서 열린 2025 KAI-X Global Conference in Sleep Synergy에 참여했습니다. CI 김재경 교수는 구두 발표를 진행했으며, 송윤민·현진우 박사, 임동주·Olive Cawding 박사과정생, 임민아·이강민 석사과정생은 포스터 발표를 진행했습니다. 그중 송윤민 박사와 임동주 박사과정생은 우수 포스터 발표상을 수상했습니다. 모두 축하드립니다!

지난 11월 28일 서울 백범김구기념관에서 열린 2025년 대한수면학회 정기학술대회에 BIMAG 멤버들이 참여했습니다. 김재경 교수는 Plenary Lecture를, 송윤민 박사와 이강민·임민아 석사과정생은 Oral Presentations을, 임동주·Olive Cawiding 박사과정생은 Poster Presentations를 진행했습니다.

BIMAG members participated in the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Korean Society of Sleep Medicine, held on November 28 at the Baekbeom Kim Koo Memorial Hall in Seoul.
Prof. Jae Kyoung Kim delivered the Plenary Lecture, while Dr. Yun Min Song, Kangmin Lee, and Myna Lim (M.S. candidates) gave oral presentations. Dongju Lim and Olive Cawiding (Ph.D. candidates) presented their work in the poster session.

BIMAG 팀은 국내 수면의학 전문가뿐 아니라 여러 국제적 저명 연구자들과 깊이 있는 교류를 나누며 의미 있는 시간을 보냈습니다.

CI Prof. Jae Kyoung Kim delivered a plenary lecture at the 13th KSP–JSP–CPA Joint Symposium, held at the Yangjae AT Center in Seoul from November 6 to 7.

Members of BIMAG participated in the World Sleep 2025 conference held in Singapore from September 5 to 11. CI Prof. Jae Kyung Kim delivered presentations in three sessions, including a Course Session, an Industry Symposium, and a Symposium. Dr. Yoonmin Song, Dr. Dongju Lim, and PhD candidate Olive presented their research through posters. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to engage with researchers and clinicians worldwide who study sleep and circadian rhythms, and to explore the latest research trends in the field.

BIMAG 멤버들은 9월 5일부터 11일까지 싱가포르에서 열린 World Sleep 2025 학술대회에 참여했습니다. CI 김재경 교수는 Course Session, Industry Symposium, Symposium 등 총 세 개 세션에서 발표를 진행했으며, 송윤민 박사와 임동주, Olive 박사과정생들은 포스터 발표를 했습니다. 이번 학회를 통해 수면 및 일주기 리듬 관련 연구를 수행하는 전 세계 연구자 및 임상의들과 교류하고 최신 연구 동향을 확인하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.

On July 30th, Prof. Jae Kyoung Kim delivered a plenary lecture at the 2025 SIAM Annual Meeting in Montréal, becoming the first Korean scholar to do so.

BIMAG members participated in the 2025 SMB Annual Meeting, which was held in Edmonton, Canada, from July 13 to 18, 2025.

All participants introduced their research excellently, engaged actively with researchers from various fields in mathematical biology, and had valuable experiences in Edmonton, Canada.

참가자들은 각자의 연구를 훌륭하게 소개했고, 수리생물학 분야의 다양한 연구자들과 활발히 소통하며, 캐나다 에드먼튼에서 뜻깊은 경험을 쌓을 수 있었습니다.

On June 10th-13th, Dr. Shingo Gibo gave a poster presentation at the 2025 Hibernation Biology 2.0, Annual Meeting, which was held at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in Japan.

On January 17–18, BIMAG hosted the GIST-IBS-AMC Sleep Medicine Symposium at the IBS headquarters. The event brought together experts in basic and clinical sleep research to discuss new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep medicine and explore opportunities for collaboration among researchers.

지난 1월 17일부터 18일까지 BIMAG은 IBS 본원에서 GIST-IBS-AMC Sleep Medicine Symposium을 개최했습니다. 이번 행사에서는 기초 및 임상 분야의 수면 전문가들이 한자리에 모여 수면의학 분야의 진단과 치료에 대한 새로운 접근법을 논의하며, 연구자들 간 협력 방안을 모색하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.
