From June 23 to July 2, Olive R. Cawiding participated in the Geneva-based leadership training program organized by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD). The program brought together early-career scholars from a wide range of academic backgrounds—including the natural sciences, public health, social sciences, law—for an intensive and interdisciplinary training on global issues. Over ten days, participants engaged directly with UN experts, researchers, and practitioners to explore how evidence-based policy, international governance, and academic inquiry intersect in addressing complex global challenges.
