New portable sensor - Drug detection now just as easy as breathalyzer test!

Joint research team of scientists from the Center for Self-assembly and Complexity at IBS and the Department of Chemical Engineering at POSTECH developed a portable amphetamine-based drug detector that allows quick, accurate, on-site drug detection with just one drop of biological fluid, like spit, urine or sweat. The joint team is also keen on developing sensors for other toxic and dangerous substances, as well as environmental hormones, using the newly developed technology.
