Winged Migration showcases the immense migrations undertaken by birds around the globe. Filming took four years and occurred on seven continents. Newborn birds were imprinted to become accustomed to film equipment and the variety of filming methods. Its producer says it is neither a documentary nor fiction, but a "natural tale."
