IBS Symposium on Determining and Understanding Global and Regional Climate Change

We are pleased to inform you that the 2018 IBS Symposium on Determining and Understanding Global and Regional Climate Change which will be held in International Conference Room, Tonghapgigyegwan Bldg., Pusan National Univ., Pusan on Thursday, August 23rd, 2018 from 1:15 pm – 5:40 pm. (Address: Busandaehak-ro 63beon-gil, Geumjeong-gu, Busan)

The symposium will be chaired by Prof. Richard A. ANTHES (UCAR), bringing together leading scientists in the field to give talks including Prof. Kerry H. COOK (University of Texas at Austin), Assoc. Prof. Silvia FRISIA (University of Newcastle), Prof. Steven SHERWOOD (University of New South Wales), Prof. Adrian SIMMONS (ECMWF), Prof. Dominik FLEITMANN (University of Reading).

No prior registration is necessary as the sumposium is open to public.

- The symposium will start 15 minutes earlier (13:30 → 13:15)
- The presentation time will be shortened to 35 minutes, and the question & answer session will be shortened to 5 minutes for each speaker’s talk.
