Prof. Newby is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta. His research focuses on developing mechanistic stochastic models of molecular motion, biomechanics, and chemistry in micron-scale environments, including cells and extracellular polymer matrices.
