CUP is also developing new detection technologies (e.g., low-temperature detectors, large liquid scintillating detectors) for future experiments for dark matter and neutrinos. The center operates Yangyang Underground Laboratory (Y2L) in addition to ground laboratories at Daejeon, Korea, and have a plan to construct a new underground laboratory by the year of 2019. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in nuclear, particle physics, or a relevant field, and should have a strong research experience in one or more of the following fields ; FPGA programming, electronics and DAQ system, data analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and/or constructing the detectors for the current and future experiments. Candidates with outstanding capabilities will be considered as a tenure-track position at IBS. Research fellows are for a period of initial 2 years, with the possible extension for 3 more years. Those interested should send their CV, a brief description of their research interests in one page, a list of publications featuring three highlights, and three reference letters by Oct 31, 2016.
