Tenure-track faculty position in particle theory phenomenology

Center for Theoretical Physics of the Universe (CTPU) at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS) in Korea invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in particle theory phenomenology starting anytime in 2015. We are particularly interested in the candidates with expertise in physics beyond the standard model and collider phenomenology. The application deadline is August 10th, 2015.

IBS (http://www.ibs.re.kr/en/) is a government-funded research institute in Korea, aiming to construct a global base for basic science research and cultivate the next generation of research leaders. CTPU (http://ctpu.ibs.re.kr/) led by Professor KiwoonChoi is a rapidly growing group currently consisting of 4 faculty members [KiwoonChoi, KenjiKadota, Sanghyeon Chang and Hye-Sung Lee (to join this fall)] and 13 postdoctoral research fellows (including 6 new fellows to join this fall). The interests of our group cover broad areas of high energy physics and cosmology.

We have strong ties to nearby institutions for collaborations, in particular, the high energy physics group at KAIST (http://top.kaist.ac.kr/) and the cosmology group at KASI (http://cosmology.kasi.re.kr/). We also have close relations with the experimental groups hosted by IBS, Center for Axion and Precision Physics Research (CAPP, http://capp.ibs.re.kr) and Center for Underground Physics (CUP, http://cupweb.ibs.re.kr/).
